Recently, I was interviewed by the Queen’s University Journal (our university newspaper) for an article regarding Social media in classrooms! It was finally published earlier last week and I just got a digital copy of it.

Honestly, I mentioned a lot of other quotable lines (in my opinion) I really wanted to stress the importance of including digital media and other tools such as twitter, facebook, blogging, delicious etc. as a means for students to stay engaged in the course content both inside and outside of class. I sure hope I got the point across.
But on another note- how hilarious is it when they quoted me as “Ho”. Classic.
I think you did point out the importance of using social media, especially how convenient it is, within the classroom environment. It’s too bad that only a small portion of your interview was used!
For my Web/flash course we post our assignment links on a blog that our prof specifically made for our class. He says it will bring us together as a community as well as act as a web/flash source that we can refer to. Plus conjure up competition as we can see where each others’ skills are at
